We recently welcomed Dezaria Taylor to the WhyHR team! In her role as an HR assistant, Dezaria will work to support our specialists in all aspects of client service, including employee onboarding, reviewing resumes and applications, conducting interviews, and supporting employee relations.
She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2021 with a major in human resource management and minor in business entrepreneurship. She previously worked at Science Museum Oklahoma as an intern and HR assistant and at Sunbeam Family Services in an onboarding role within HR. She is excited for the opportunity to broaden her knowledge and gain experience in all aspects of human resources as part of the WhyHR team.
With her outgoing and friendly demeanor, Dezaria was drawn to HR because of the positive impact she can create for employees. Over the years, she found she particularly loves being the first impression of a company and of the HR department. She wants to do all she can to invest in the well-being of employees and support them through their careers.
Outside of work, Dezaria is very family oriented and loves spending time with her many nieces and nephews, as well as her twin sister. She is a small group leader at her church, and enjoys hanging out with friends, spending time outdoors, painting, and drawing. She looks forward to being more involved with service organizations in the future.
