We’re excited to introduce Alicia Wilczek, who recently joined the whyHR team as an HR consultant. With more than 15 years of experience in human resources, Alicia brings a strong foundation in employee relations, compliance, and talent development. She’s passionate about helping leaders navigate people challenges with clarity, confidence, and care.

In her role at whyHR, Alicia supports clients with a wide range of HR needs, including employee relations, compliance, onboarding, training, and leadership development. She takes a client-first approach by listening closely to each organization’s goals and priorities to deliver meaningful support.

Before joining the team, Alicia worked for both private and public employers, including oil and gas startups, a global manufacturing firm, and the City of Oklahoma City. Her experience involves building HR departments for fast-growing companies, supporting unionized workforces, and guiding organizations through significant change.

Alicia’s HR career began shortly after graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in HR management. Her early roles gave her experience across the full employee life cycle, from recruiting and onboarding to performance management and organizational planning. Over time, she found herself drawn to employee relations and leadership support, where she could help others navigate tough conversations and build a stronger workplace culture.

At whyHR, Alicia appreciates the chance to take a proactive approach to HR. She enjoys building relationships with clients, helping them integrate HR into their daily strategy, and showing that HR can be a resource, not a roadblock.

Outside of work, Alicia enjoys strength training, reading a mix of Stephen King novels and leadership development books, and spending time with her husband and their two cats. She’s also close to her twin sister and often spends time with her 12-year-old nephew at basketball games or family outings.

We’re proud to have Alicia on the whyHR team. Her wide-ranging background, thoughtful leadership, and ability to blend strategy with empathy make her a valuable resource to both our clients and their people.
